It’s difficult to decide whether Zurich is at its best while it’s summer (girls in short skirts), in spring (beautiful weather and views of the lake and alps) or during cold, rainy dark nights in fall and winter. At least in winter, while it’s miserable outside, there’s a good choice of cozy, warm restaurants around town, not least of which is the Blockhus, pretty much smack in the middle of town.
