A world-famous dumping ground for old steam engines and rolling stock, outside of Uyuni, Bolivia. It’s a sad, but somehow majestic patch of desert, when you think about how these locomotives once thundered across thousands of miles of South American landscape.

I am in an ongoing labor of love to sort, rate, geotag, and process something in the neighborhood of 30,000 photos that I was always too lame to do much about right after shooting them.

Kids, let this be an object lesson -- download your pics every day. Sort them. Tag them. Throw out the bad ones. And for god's sake, upload the good stuff.

A lot of my photos aren't processed, some aren't geotagged, there are pictures in there that are badly set up, have poor white balance, whatnot. I'm not a professional photographer, these are all pictures from my Lightroom library that I sort of liked.

All images are under Creative Commons AB+SA+NC license. That means, anybody can use any of my pics as long as I get credit, any images you make out of mine have to have the same license, and you only get to use them for non-commercial purposes unless you have my permission.
